We are actively pursuing accreditation across all five of our training sectors. Each body below has an active application or alignment process underway.
The MICT SETA is the Sector Education and Training Authority for the media, information and communication technology sector. Accreditation with MICT SETA will allow Teknotrade to access SETA-funded learnerships and bursaries for our IT programmes, opening training opportunities to learners who cannot self-fund.
Application is currently in progress.
ICDL is the world's most widely recognised digital skills certification, used in over 100 countries. Becoming an ICDL-accredited test centre will allow Teknotrade to certify learners in user computing skills — essential for employment in virtually every modern sector.
Accreditation application is in progress.
CIPS is the global professional body for procurement and supply chain professionals. CIPS-aligned training is internationally recognised and highly valued in South Africa's public and private sectors. Our supply chain management programmes are being developed in alignment with CIPS standards.
Accreditation is in progress.
PSIRA is the statutory regulator for South Africa's private security industry. Only PSIRA-accredited training providers may issue certificates that qualify security officers for grading and industry registration. Our security training programmes are being developed to meet full PSIRA compliance.
Accreditation is in progress.
In addition to our existing IT accreditation, we are pursuing QCTO accreditation for programmes in Education and Governance. These will enable Teknotrade to offer formally recognised occupational qualifications in teacher development, public sector administration and governance.
