Flagship Programme

Occupational Certificate: Computer Technician

This is our flagship QCTO-accredited qualification — the Occupational Certificate: Computer Technician (NQF Level 5). It is a full occupational programme that equips learners with the practical skills to work as a Computer Technician in a wide range of business and technical environments.

Training is delivered at our campus in Olifantsfontein, Gauteng, combining theory, workplace experience and a formal trade test.

What You Will Learn

  • PC hardware assembly, maintenance and fault diagnosis
  • Operating system installation, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Network fundamentals — LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and TCP/IP
  • Technical support and helpdesk methodologies
  • Software installation, licensing and cybersecurity basics
  • Customer service and professional workplace communication
  • Peripheral devices, printers and mobile devices
